Us

"Us" tells the story of an everyday couple going through ups and downs. Daily they are pulled together by the strong love between them, yet their individual struggles and expectations threaten to pull them apart.

As a choreographer I describe myself foremost as a storyteller. I wanted to tell a real story of how beautiful, difficult, and complicated relationships are, even in the best instances--and how every love story is unique. Like a fly on the wall, the audience observes glimpses of the relationship over a long period of time. They follow the couple through many relationship stages, seeing how each person changes while they learn to accept themselves and each other within the relationship.
